Our beliefs

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inspired living Word of God; infallible and immutable from Genesis to Revelation (2 Timothy 3:16)

The Trinity

We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; these three are one. (1 John 5: 7)

The Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin; that he was crucified, died, and on the third day rose from the dead; who ascended to heaven where he is now seated at the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1: 30-35, Acts 2: 32-36)

Salvation

We believe that salvation can only be obtained through repentance and confession of our sins; that it is a gift given by divine grace and not by works, and that it can only be received by faith in Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and men (Acts 4: 11-12, Ephesians 2: 8, 1 Timothy 2: 5)

The resurrection of the dead and eternal life

We believe in the second coming of Christ for his people; that the dead will rise first, saved and unsaved; that living Christians will be raptured by Jesus; that all will experience the Judgment; that believers will be resurrected to eternal life with Jesus and stand before the judgment seat of Christ, while unbelievers will be resurrected to suffer eternal dmanation and will be judged at the Great White Throne of God. (Daniel 12: 1-2, Romans 14:10, 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17, Revelation 20: 11-15)

Sanctification

We believe that sanctification occurs instantaneously in the spirit, but that it must progressively develop in the body and soul of each child of God. (Hebrews 12:14, Romans 6: 19-22)

Baptism into the body of Christ

We believe in baptism into the body of Christ by which the person accepts Jesus, experiences the new birth, and becomes a new member of the body of Christ and heir to eternal life. (1 Corinthians 12:27)

Baptism in water

We believe in water baptism as a symbol of identification with death to sin and with the resurrection of Jesus to eternal life. (Romans 6: 4)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, through which we have the power to become witnesses of Jesus to the world. (Acts 1: 8; 2: 4)

Laying on of hands

We believe that one way to transmit blessings, healing, and the power of God to others is through the laying on of hands. (Acts 8: 15-17, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1: 6)

The fivefold ministry

We believe that the fivefold ministry is a gift given by God to the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4: 11-12)

The governing ministries

We believe that the apostle and prophet are government ministries that establish the foundation and biblical doctrine in the church. (Ephesians 2:20; 3: 5)

The apostolic government

We believe in establishing apostolic government within the local church with the apostle as the head, the prophet as part of the government, followed by the ministers and elders (Ephesians 4:11, Acts 14:23).

God's kingdom

We believe in the Kingdom of God as a government where Jesus is King, and both are absolute and supreme truths (John 3: 3, Acts 8:12, Romans 5:17, Hebrews 12:28).

The healing and liberating power of the Kingdom

We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal the sick, cast out demons, and perform miracles, signs, and wonders. (Mark 1: 32-34, John 14:12, Matthew 12:28)

Faith

We believe that without faith it is impossible to live a life that pleases God and that we inherit blessings by faith (Hebrews 6:12; 11: 6).

Preach the gospel

We believe in spreading the gospel of the Kingdom locally, nationally and globally by any means possible. (Matthew 24:14)
